# 2 · Market context

Why the interface layer is where value accrues in 2026

## Three shifts that define the moment

#### Infrastructure has commoditised

Block space is abundant and cheap across BNB Chain, Base, Solana and the L2 set. Routing, bridging
and settlement are solved problems with multiple credible providers. When infrastructure
commoditises, margin migrates to whoever owns the user relationship, which, in practice, means
whoever owns the interface.

#### AI reached the point where interpretation is tractable

Until recently, natural-language access to financial data was a demo rather than a product:
models could paraphrase but not reason reliably over live state. That changed. The practical
consequence is that the analytical work previously requiring a specialist can be done
conversationally, at marginal cost, for a user who never learns the vocabulary.

This is not the same as "add a chatbot". The hard part is grounding, connecting a language model
to live on-chain state, with lineage, so the answer is checkable. See
[section 6](/whitepaper/intelligence).

#### Distribution moved into messaging

Crypto communities organise in Telegram. An approved Telegram Apps Center application reaches
users where they already are, with no install friction. Vision Makers' AI Hub has been through
that approval and was previously featured in Trending This Week.

## The addressable gap

The crypto-curious population is an order of magnitude larger than the actively-participating one.
The gap is not interest or capital, it is the competence threshold imposed by the current
toolchain.

| Segment | What blocks them today | What Vision Makers changes |
| --- | --- | --- |
| New to crypto | Must learn wallets, gas, slippage and approvals before a first safe trade | Guided explanation at the point of use; wallet provisioned on arrival |
| Active retail | No defensible method for evaluating a token | Mindshare-driven due diligence with evidence attached |
| Professional traders | Reconciling five tools by hand is slow, not impossible | One surface, streaming smart-money flow, agents that pre-stage |
| Projects and builders | Growth stack assembled from five vendors | Launches, competitions, airdrops and referrals in one environment |

## Competitive position

The market splits into three groups, none of which occupies the position Vision Makers targets.

**Analytics platforms** (Dune, Nansen, Arkham) are excellent at data and deliberately stop short
of execution. They serve analysts, price for institutions, and leave the user to act elsewhere.

**Trading interfaces** (DEX aggregators, Telegram trading bots) are excellent at execution and
thin on interpretation. They assume the user has already decided.

**General AI assistants** can discuss crypto but are not grounded in live on-chain state, hold no
wallet connection, and cannot act.

Vision Makers' position is the intersection: **interpretation grounded in live data, with
execution attached, priced for consumers**. The defensible part is not any one of those three
capabilities, it is holding all three in one account.

Each of those three groups could move toward the intersection, and some will. The advantage is a
head start of roughly nine months in production, 630,000+ users acquired without paid spend, and
proprietary scoring trained on the behaviour of those users. It is a real moat, but it is a lead
rather than a wall. See section 13.
